Okay....tell me what you think guys...my friend was out on the streets and was just rollin...

Camaro came up to him so they raced at the top of 3rd gear (gsr was rippin the shit out of the camaro!!!) the car hesitated, but he stayed on it until smoke came out...Ouch

Anyway we had the car trailered home and didn't do nothing to it. I'm pretty sure the car leaned out since it was like 30 degrees out and his car was set for like 60 degree weather.

The car will still run, but I told him not to start it anymore.

    I'm thinking it's a cracked dome on a piston.

Oh yeah #2 & #3 plugs were melted it.

ANyone who can help out please let me know???

    Unhappy

Melted plugs... Preignition... Verrry bad. frown

The loss of power (hesitation) is consistant with preignition as well. That can trash a motor in a second. I doubt the piston crowns are cracked, but they probably have holes melted through near their centers. Something went very wrong there.

FUEL! I am just gonna guess that your buddy was running a "Dry" system nitrous kit huh? The fact that it was tuned for 60 degree weather is enough but the fact that it was a dry kit made it even worse. I personally know that I had to up my fuel pressure 10psi on the top side just from the serious temp drop. I suggest he get a direct port kit (since he is gonna be building the motor anyway and apparently likes the laughing gas) and read up on N2O tuning tips and FI tuning in general so that he knows what to, and what not to do when squeezing or raising the CR of any motor. Oh yeah, get a high flow fuel pump too.

Pull the head and look inside. Since plugs melted and you saw smoke, something in there is broken, at the least a head gasket, but probably also some piston/ring damage. If your buddy is really unlucky, the cylinder walls could be gouged too.

    Good luck.
